“I am who I am.  I love my family; I love my children and my husband.  I love Diet Coke, burgers & a midnight dive into chips & popcorn.  I drive a big black extended cab F350 pickup truck, can hitch a 36’ gooseneck 3 stall horse trailer with living quarters and…park it & ride my horse who may or may not throw me off at any given moment.  I have some joy every time I say a curse word and at times can make a truck driver blush when a string of profanities that may or may not fall out of my mouth…..but I work hard and I am honest.  Real Estate is in my blood, always has been and always will be.”

 

"I knew from that moment, as an 8th grader, that I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps.  Seeing her as a leader and a successful businesswoman was like the first time you see your teacher outside of school.  I was in awe of how my mother commanded the room effortlessly.  My father, now he had a way about him, he could take someone as mean as a snake or as mad as fire and make them feel that the solution to the situation was their idea and would be his pleasure to make it right.  People could not get mad at him. They could come in breathing fire and leave feeling like they were friends.  I was intrigued, fascinated, and just like that, my fate was sealed.  I knew when I grew up I wanted to be just like them.
